Summary
The Pageant was written by the Staff and performed by Members of the Staff and School. This was one of the first pageants held in the town of Ipswich. Others included the Wolsey Pageant (1930), and the Historical Pageant of Ipswich (1935), which was performed by the Ipswich High School. The Ipswich Pageant of education was held to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the foundation of the Ipswich High School; it featured scenes about the school, scenes from social history and scenes featuring historical figures.
